New chapter...

OK...so I'm just about ready for a new chapter in my life right about now...bring it on Cali!!! :) I don't know what's in store for me, but I am open up to new adventures and challenges that lie ahead! :)

If you're a fortune teller... I need your help NOW!!!

I'm just teasing...I just am feeling so confused, hurt, and discouraged. I wish I could just see a little of what He has in store for me...but I know that's not why we are here on earth. I do know that my Heavenly Father loves me and that He has a plan for me...I just want to take a peek! :)
(P.S. if you're a fortune teller...tell me what you see in your crystal ball just for fun. hee hee).

Thanksgiving...

Every year for Thanksgiving, we go to Colorado to spend it with my mom's family. This year was definitely a bitter-sweet feeling. It was a year ago that we lost our wonderful Grandpa. He passed away on the 26th of November last year and this year that day was on Thanksgiving. I have so much to be thankful for. I love my family so much. I know my Grandpa is up in Heaven building us mansions for our homecoming. This is his headstone. Isn't it the most beautiful headstone? I am so grateful that I know that I will see him again. :)

I just had to write down what I am feeling right now...with out too much detail. :) I am the happiest I have been in a looonngg time! I am so grateful for my family and friends who pray for me, laugh with me and cry with me. I feel so blessed. Today is going to be a great day!

I am sick and tired of being sick and tired...

Yep, I have been avoiding the plague, (flu) for as long as I could, but it snuck up on me. I woke up in the middle of the night not being able to swallow one bit. I gargled with salt water, and went back to bed, (or at least tried to). Then I woke up around 5:45 AM to chills all over my body. Dangit! It might sound childish, but times like these is when I need my mom. :) For some reason her 'Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup,' home remedies and her love would help me get over this much quicker. So mom, if you're reading this...come visit! :)

A special weekend with two very special birthdays!

On Sunday, we went over to Nick and Jooge's place to celebrate mama's birthday! It was so nice for her because she didn't have to cook/clean up anything, (Nick and Jooge are sooo smart). They made Chicken Parmesan, Bruschetta and a fruit salad. It was so YUMMY! We all loved it...and mom and dad loved the Bruschetta. Thanks Jooge and Nick for a wonderful day to celebrate our wonderful Mom. Happy Birthday Mama! I love you so much!

(Jooge and Nick had their Nephews over because they were watching them while their parents were gone...all I can say is Beau is one cute Chunky Monkey! ha ha. I really need some nieces and nephews already Jooge and Nick and Lou and Andy. :)
